A teacher professionalism worth fighting for . . . ?

January 10, 2013 — Leave a comment

This is the powerpoint of a presentation I gave at the University of Staffordshire – it seeks to locate the current ‘war on teachers’ in a much broader battle of ideas about the fundamental nature and future of the (post?) welfare state.  Inevitably a powerpoint does not include much of the detail that is provided by the spoken presentation itself. My plan is to either write up my presentation as a blog, or, if I pluck up the courage, record a voice over and upload a version with the voice over.  But in the meantime, the presentation is here – feel free to use the comments facility to keep the debate going that was started in the presentation.

The presentation is best viewed in a format where it is possible to clink on the links.
