Organising without borders

This is a project I am undertaking with the National Union of Teachers.

It looks to build union organising capacity, and develop international solidarity by connecting union organisers in the NUT with partners in union organisations internationally.  These international pairings undertake an ‘organising project’ across two countries, and using an action research process to guide their work. The model of organising adopted is one that has been developed from my own research.

An early draft proposal for the project – which provides more detail is here.  This document is an early draft and the project itself may take a different form as later decisions are made about form and process. The draft proposal – Organising without borders initial draft proposal

The project is also supported by an ESRC Impact Accelerator Grant – used to help embed social scientific research with users outside of the university.

Details of this project can be found on blogposts tagged OWB.
