With Fiona King (Professional Development Service for Teachers – Ireland) – a joint authored article looking at the role of leadership in supporting professional development that contributes to sustained, long-term school improvement. Currently under review.
With Phil Wood (University of Leicester) – a joint authored article on the role of high-stakes testing in English schools education policy since 1988. To appear in a special issue of The International Education Journal: Comparative Perspectives – guest edited by Greg Thompson. (to be published 2014)
With Bruce Barnett (University of Texas at San Antonio) – a chapter in the Handbook of Urban School Leadership – edited by Grant-Overton, Khalifa and Witherspoon-Arnold. The chapter will focus on our work with the International School Leadership Development Network.
With Alison Gilliland (Irish National Teachers’ Organisation) – a jointly authored paper for a special issue of the journal Leadership and Policy in Schools, guest edited by Lauri Johnson. Our article will focus on analysing alliances between organised teachers and parents and looking at the circumstances which can help or hinder such alliances.
